As Italy’s most important Android event, droidcon Italy supports the Android platform in its unique approach of openness and shared learning by bringing together developers and suppliers. The event has an impressively international feel with speakers, sponsors and delegates participating from around the globe. In the spirit of the Android platform, droidcon welcomes involvement and contribution from the Android community. droidcon Italy provides major opportunities for innovation, recruiting and networking. The theme for the 2018 event is Android for Business , focusing specifically on the commercial and business application of Android. As the largest developer conference in Italy, droidcon is an ideal place to network and learn about the latest challenges and opportunities in Android. droidcon includes: keynote presentations, stream/ track talks, workshops and numerous chances to network, plus the hackathon

The droidcon Italy agenda comprises a two day conference plus two day hackathon. The agenda is divided into keynote presentations (for the full audience) and stream/track presentations (when the audience choose between 3 or 4 simultaneous sessions). Also scheduled throughout the agenda are workshops – longer sessions in which the participants can deep dive into a particular topic. There are opportunities to network throughout the whole event: coffee and lunch breaks held in the exhibition space, and the droidcon Italy party. Following the conference is the two day hackathon , bringing together like-minded individuals to create new solutions and products in a high intensity hackathon environment.
