The droidcon Italy agenda comprises a two day conference plus two day hackathon.
The agenda is divided into keynote presentations (for the full audience) and stream/ track presentations (when the audiences choose between 3 or 4 simultaneous sessions). Also scheduled throughout the agenda are workshops – longer sessions in which the participants can deep dive into a particular topic, and barcamps – with spontaneous presentations from the participants.
There are opportunities to network throughout the whole event: coffee and lunch breaks held in the exhibition space, and the droidcon Italy party.
Following the two day conference is the two day hackathon, bringing together like-minded individuals to create new solutions and products in a high intensity hackathon environment.
droidcon Italy provides major opportunities for innovation, recruiting and networking and the theme for the 2018 event is Android for Business, focusing specifically on the commercial and business application of Android.
As the largest developer conference in Italy, droidcon is an ideal place to network and learn about the latest challenges and opportunities in Android. Over two days, droidcon covers a broad range of topics, including:
|• Core development||• Augmented reality||• AndroidTV|

Every year, droidcon Italy announces a Call for Papers, inviting the Android community to submit their application for a presentation or workshop that they would like to deliver at the event. We then invite the community to get involved again, to vote on the submissions (the Call for Papers platform is open to view) and provide feedback on the topics and speakers.
